Wanoakari, a splendor of Japanese light created by sensibilities and technologies that are unique to Japan, will adorn the designated cultural property, Hyakudan Kaidan, again this summer.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is Hyakki Yako, a nightly parade of demons, designed to take you on a journey from the real world to an otherworld as you proceed from room to room. The spaces of the cultural property, already brimming with a unique beauty of form of dazzling splendor, are further accentuated with the expression of color, drawing you into a world that is both beautiful and eerie.

Music and aroma also fill the rooms, creating an experience of a summer moment to be savored with all five senses.
